Kelsey Hedspeth Brewer Named One of Plastics News’ Women Breaking the Mold 2023

We’re proud to share that Plastics News has named Kelsey Hedspeth Brewer, Project Manager at Technimark, to its Women Breaking the Mold 2023 list. The recognition honors women across the plastics industry who are making meaningful contributions and shaping the future of manufacturing.

Kelsey’s path to Technimark started early — her father worked as a design engineer at our Asheboro facility, sparking her interest. After earning a degree in systems engineering from The University of North Carolina Charlotte, she joined Technimark as an intern then progressed to her current role. Today, she leads key projects across product development, production, sustainability, and continuous improvement — bringing organization, focus, and strong collaboration to every team she supports.

“Kelsey brings a thoughtful, steady approach to complex programs and has been a valuable contributor to several of our sustainability initiatives,” said Katie Distler, Chief Sustainability Officer.
