For the second time in eight years, Procter & Gamble (P&G) has honored Technimark with one of its most prestigious recognitions: the 2016 External Business Partner of the Year Award.
In addition, Technimark was one of only 32 companies to receive The External Business Partner Excellence Award from P&G which the company has won every year it has been awarded since its inception in 2008.
The awards were formally presented to the company on Oct. 13, 2016 at a dinner in Cincinnati, Ohio, where P&G is headquartered. P&G Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer David Taylor was the keynote speaker at the event.
Taylor asked P&G’s external business partners to continue to strive for the best collaborative relationship with P&G, saying: “We’re focused in getting back to balanced growth. Our supplier partners have a key role to play in our ability to deliver top-line, bottom-line and cash. The more integrated and connected P&G and our supplier partners are, the better able we are to be more innovative and productive in meeting consumers’ needs and, as a result, deliver balanced and sustainable growth and value creation for our shareholders.”
Since 2008, P&G has recognized its top performing external business partners through its External Business Partner Performance Development Process (PDP). P&G established the PDP to “define, measure and collaboratively enhance the performance of its business partners to exceed business needs and enhance relationships.” By improving the collective performance of its partners in a truly collaborative manner, P&G aims to help both P&G and its business partners succeed. The PDP focuses on metrics associated with the commercial, operational, innovation and relationship performance categories.
From its ranks of more than 50,000 suppliers and agencies, only twelve received the highest honor of being named Excellence Award winners and “External Business Partner of the Year.”
